The time has come for some… bunny fun! Today I have a free bunny softie pattern that is excellent for a quick project, suitable for beginners and experts alike. This pattern was a hit on my old website, so I thought I’d give it a makeover and post it here too!

The pattern says it requires a Fat Quarter, but if you are conservative with your pattern placement, you can get two bunnies out of one fat quarter. I think these bunnies would be cute personalized too, with a name or some fun Easter saying on the front using embroidery or heat transfer vinyl. Or, you can be like me, and keep it as simple as possible because you are needed by small people and you have only 15 minutes to sew something up!

They are a perfect size too- I fit three into my basket! Enlarge or shrink the pattern for a family of all sizes. As I was sewing these little guys up, I decided I needed more bunny fabric, so I just got some to make more bunnies! In the meantime, we have one very happy bunny shaped pears happening. Just don’t tell the bunny he’s pear shaped, it’s just his fluffy tail 😉
