As I was sitting at my computer recently working on some new quilt patterns almost ready to publish (yay!!) I realized that my other patterns came out when I didn’t blog, and therefore there is not a real introduction for them yet! So, over the next little bit before the new patterns come out, I’ll introduce you to the others.
First up is Lucky Toss, a pattern that I came up with when I was pregnant with my 4th daughter (and she is now 2 years old!). It is a very easy beginner quilt pattern, so I recommend it to anyone! The more experienced quilters can count on finishing the top in just a few hours. The pattern calls for 2 1/2″ pre-cut fabric strips (like a Jelly Roll or Roly Poly), which makes it that much easier! I snagged some pictures of the first quilt from my old website, since this quilt is very loved and worn nowadays.
This rail fence quilt is so perfect for any occasion! Since the first quilt I made was definitely feminine (Sweetest Thing for Riley Blake), I went with a sports fabric line for the second (Varsity for Moda). Each is equally delightful, and the pattern suits both.
I’d say Lucky Toss- an easy Jelly Roll Quilt Pattern- should be a staple in anyone’s pattern collection- fast, easy, and versatile is the perfect combination.
You can snag it in my shop HERE. If you do make this quilt, share it with me and everyone else! Use the hashtag #luckytossquilt on IG, or e-mail me a photo. I love seeing your fabric choices and happy quilts!
Hi. I am looking for instructions on how much material to use for this quilt. I want to make a good size lap quilt. If you have the pattern I would be more then happy to purchase it from you. Thank you. Lorraine
I’ve seen this baby quilt on pinterest and been trying to find a pattern for it. Yay! I finally found where I can get the pattern! You don’t know how happy this makes me. This quilt is adorable!
