Introducing: Patisserie! This quilt pattern is fully inspired by my time so far here in France. Everywhere you look there are intricate patterns, delicious treats, and fancy textiles. How can I NOT be inspired? This quilt pattern was one of the first things I designed when my sewing/designing space was finally set up.
The quilt comes in 4 sizes: Baby, Throw, Twin, and Queen. It also has a 3-color version (top photos) and a scrappy version (shown above in the throw size). So many options for this quilt! The star blocks have a great arrangement that gives it a woven look, like the top of a pie!
The pattern is available in my shop!
This baby size quilt uses fabric I purchased here in Paris at a large fabric shop called Tissus Reine, right at the base of Sacre Coeur. Now that the weather is cooler this little quilt has taken up residence with my youngest at night, my kids said they’ve missed having my quilts around the house, so it feels good to have my first completed quilt in France covering my kiddo!
This throw size version uses Patty Sloniger’s Flora and Fauna line, which I found at a shop here in France on Etsy. It is actually super hard to find full collections here, so I jumped at the opportunity to use this bright and fun fabric line!
Grab the pattern HERE! I’d love to see your version of this quilt, tag me on Instagram or use #patisseriequilt so I can see.
Thank you! Love this quilt and you have the best every background for it!!!!! I picnic quilt at the Fair!
Thanks!
