Still working through the blocks in my Saturday in Paris quilt! This quilt uses a FQ bundle of the Saturday in Paris fabric line for Riley Blake Designs, as well as the panels.

In Paris, the locals may familiarly refer to the Eiffel Tower as “The Iron Lady” (la dame de fer) so of course I had to incorporate that name into one of these blocks! The Iron Lady block is still a simple, classic block with just a themed name 😉

The block is large flying geese and half square triangles surrounding an 8″ panel block. Simple! Again, all the blocks will finish at 16″ x 16″ in the final quilt.
